United Docks has a rich history which started in 1874 and 1876 with the creation of Albion Docks Co Ltd and New Mauritius Docks Ltd. The activities of United Docks were primarily geared towards warehousing and logistics.
Over the years, United Docks has transformed itself into a leading real estate developer in the Capital City of Port-Louis. United Docks is in fact the biggest private land owner in Port-Louis, owning around 100,000 square metres of prime docklands in Caudan and Trou Fanfaron.
Since 1991, United Docks is listed on the official market of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius with a NAV to the tune of Rs 2 Billion and a market capitalisation of Rs 1.1 Billion.
United Docks also holds 20 % shareholding in AXYS and 13.41 % shares in Harel Mallac.
